Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with co-workers, students, and staff.
• Able to obtain or possess an Arizona DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Reports to: Kitchen Supervisor

 

Job Goal: To assist in the preparation and serving of healthful meals for students and staff.

 

Performance Responsibilities:

• Practices safety in the kitchen at all times.
• Performs cleaning and cleanup duties on a regular basis and as assigned.
• Assists with meal preparation as assigned. 
• Assists with receiving delivery of food when appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Terms of Employment: 9 months, 5.9 hrs per day. Salary established by the Governing Board. Employee benefits in accordance with district policies.
